Network Engineer – Peraton (Hybrid: Alexandria, VA / Kearneysville, WV)
As part of Peraton’s DHS Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) Program supporting the U.S. Coast Guard, you will contribute to the modernization and consolidation of critical network infrastructure. Your primary responsibility is to migrate configurations from legacy routers and switches to upgraded Cisco devices, ensuring seamless deployment and out-of-the-box functionality at field units.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/equivalent with 12 years of experience
U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance required
Proficient in Cisco WAN/LAN technologies
Strong knowledge of BGP and OSPF routing protocols
Experience with Riverbed hardware and performance reporting
Solid understanding of Cisco firewall configurations
IAT Level II certification
Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Blue Ridge routers
Familiarity with DISA Thunderdome WAN environment
Experience managing Palo Alto firewalls
