Job Description

Do you have a passion for keeping spaces neat, tidy, and welcoming? We're looking for a dedicated Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team! In this role, you'll play a vital part in providing an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms.

As a Room Attendant, you will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Executive Housekeeper, ensuring that each guest room is spotless, well-stocked, and ready for guests. You'll take pride in creating a clean and comfortable environment, helping to make each guest feel at home.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies at the start of each shift.
Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
Strip used linens, towels, and amenities from guest rooms.
Thoroughly clean and sanitize rooms and suites, including:
Making beds and changing linens
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (sinks, toilets, tubs, mirrors)
Dusting furniture, fixtures, and baseboards
Vacuuming and sweeping floors
Washing windows, tracks, and glass surfaces
Sanitizing high-touch areas such as light switches, remotes, and doorknobs
Restock linens, towels, and guest amenities according to hotel standards.
If applicable, clean balconies, patios, and outdoor spaces.
Take great care in using and maintaining housekeeping equipment and tools.
Respond promptly to special guest requests, such as extra linens or toiletries.
Report maintenance issues, broken items, or safety hazards as soon as they are identified.
Handle and dispose of biohazardous materials following proper procedures.
Adhere to hotel safety, security, and sustainability policies.
Keep your workspace, including storage areas, organized and clean.
Assist with deep cleaning projects as scheduled.
Always represent the hotel positively by maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves continuous movement and physical stamina, with tasks including:

Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Bending, kneeling, reaching, and stooping regularly.
Pushing and pulling carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20-30 pounds intermittently.
Repetitive hand and arm motions for tasks such as scrubbing, wiping, and folding.
Working with cleaning chemicals and wearing necessary protective equipment.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 15.00 Per Hour
